Onchain yield trading

Yield, on your timeline

Choose when you earn, how much, and for how long.

Evolved from TimeswapTesting on Sepolia Testnet

The difference

Pay only for the months you need

Say you only want yield exposure for November and December. In a per-expiry market you pay for every month from today until expiry. On Moment you pay for the two months you want.

Per-expiry marketsExposure always starts today and runs to a fixed expiry, so you pay for months you don't need.

Want Nov–Dec · pay for 6 months, 4 of them not needed

MomentPick any months, even ones that start later or aren't next to each other, and pay only for those.

Want Nov–Dec · pay for 2 months, nothing wasted

What you earn

Fix it, or leverage it

Deposit a yield-bearing token like sETH and it earns from now on, forever. Then choose which part of that time to keep.

  • Fixed: give up the yield until expiry, and hold a set amount more ETH from expiry on
  • Leveraged: give up the balance after expiry, and get more exposure until expiry
  • Forward leverage: a window that starts later, with even more exposure
  • Anytime: close it or change it before expiry

Why it works

Better prices on every trade

Other yield markets split liquidity across expiries. On Moment every trade draws from one shared book, so markets stay deep and slippage stays low.

  • Traders: less slippage, because no liquidity is stuck in another expiry
  • LPs: the same capital serves many more trades
For liquidity providers

Earn the spread, at rates you set

Place liquidity at the rates you like. Your deposit keeps earning its own yield while it waits, and every fill earns you the spread.

  • Your price, always: fills only happen at your rates
  • Earn while rates move: a recursive bid and ask earns the spread every cycle
  • Earn while you wait: your deposit keeps earning its own yield

Questions

Before you deposit

More detail is in the docs.

What happens at expiry?

Nothing you need to do. Your position keeps earning the token's yield after expiry until you close it.

Can I be liquidated?

No. There are no liquidations on Moment, including on leveraged positions.

Can I exit early?

Yes. You can close or change your position at any time, at the current market price.

Which tokens can I deposit?

Yield-bearing tokens such as sETH. The full list is in the docs.

What do LPs earn?

The spread between your bid and ask on every fill, plus your deposit's own yield while it waits.

Where do the rates come from?

From trading on Moment. Rates are set by the market, not by an outside price feed.
